As always excellent food & wine here. I recommend getting a bite to eat here before heading off on your flight. All the staff are friendly and helpful, but our waiter Killian is exceptionally good & efficient.
Pizzas are in the Trash !! waited 40 minutes after ordering to be told the chef has disappeared, nobody is preparing your food and NO manager on duty. After an hour our food finally came but our gate was closing so they had the audacity to put our pizzas in take away boxes to bring on the plane. We had too much luggage and had to throw them away! The restaurant was quiet, there was no reason for our day being ruined after getting to the airport early with our baby so we could eat something. It's disgraceful for an airport restaurant after we paid nearly €40 for 2 pizzas to expect us to take them on the plane because their staff decided to go for a wander in the middle of the day. The waiter was kind, he felt embarrassed by the whole situation, took my name, number and e-mail address and said management would contact me to resolve it but of course nothing was done by them. I definitely wouldn't stop here again if I had a flight to catch !!
Been coming to this place a lot as a frequent flyer in and out of Shannon. Tables not clean. Staff always seem under pressure and rushed and sometimes rude…and it’s not even busy. Perhaps invest in some proper management and training your staff. Pizza average at best. Don’t order tap water from this place. It’s lukewarm and tastes like someone filled it from a limescale swamp.
